Marc Marc march 2004 About the Demo files. Content: demo_1.all, demo_2.all, demo_3.all in folder A:\INTERNAL.SND you will find the files: j1_demos.all and M1_demos.all in the folder A:\MIDI.SND you find the same named files but transformed for use with a general MIDI feature (or external MIDI device). All demo file will be briefly described. To load a demo file: - Click with the left mouse key at the LOAD button A file selector menu pops up and standard shows you the content of the virtual A drive. - Select the demo file by clicking at it with the left mouse key. - Click with the left mouse key at the OK button The demo file will be loaded. Demo_1.all ---------- This demo uses the general MIDI voices of a PC sound card. A sound blaster compatible sound card (64 or higher) should do well. Nevertheless sounds may sound a different than meant to be. Therefore this demo session has 5 variations - using different sounds. If the startup version does not sound pleasant you may try the other variations. How to listen to the other variation? -------------------------------------- When you have loaded the DEMO_1.ALL file then, you will see that at the bottom of the SEQUENCER MENU the dots located beneath "1" and "2" are black, the "1" dot is black and box "F1" is black. Secondly you will find at the top of the Sequencer menu the button [VV] is black. When you hit the right mouse key, then the first sequence will start to run (it takes about 4 minutes). To change top the second variation of the demo you have to deselect the dots below the number "1" and "2" at the bottom of the Sequencer menu and instead select the dots below the numbers "4" and "5". Secondly you have to select the dot indicated with the number "4". This means that your sequence will start at the Sequencer section 4 and will consist of the Sequencer sections 4 and 5 - each counting 10 presets. Don't forget that at the top of the Sequencer menu the "VV" box need to be set enable (selected = black) to have the sequence run whenever you hit the right mouse key. When the sequence has finished, the program automatically will return to the menu screen and indicate its start position. You may enable the following sequence variations: 1+2 = as meant to sound 4+5 = variation 1 7+8 = variation 2 9+0 = variation 3 Hence that when you start a sequence, the program starts at the indicated position of the Sequencer section selected and the Fpreset (F1...F10) position selected. *** This demo is meant to be for universal demo use - at any time of the day for anybody - just to get a bit the feeling what a brain machine is like. For more specific results you have to change it yourself to fit to your individual approach. This demo brings you first to bit a relaxation and then turns over to energizing frequencies. All in a demo time of 4 minutes. You easily can change the time duration of each Fpreset individually or simply stretch the total time up for each of the two sections. ! Without the goggles connected this demo only demonstrates some sounds and whether it works on your system - it is not a brain wave session! Description of the sequence as meant to sound: ---------------------------------------------- 1-1 machinelike heavy drama (a little heli-like) 1-2 Ahh string 1-3 Moving filter string + internal noise 1-4 " + " 1-5 " + " 1-6 off (when enable: short pause) 1-7 MIDI noise wave 1-8 " 1-9 " 1-0 " 2-1 Pan flute start / low tone + Internal noise sea sound 2-2 " + " 2-3 Deep dramatic machine scream 2-4 Alarm clock 2-5 On going Cymbal 2-6 Bells 2-7 off (when enable: short pause) 2-8 Applause sounds a bit as rain 2-9 Bell 2-0 Bell DEMO_2 ------ This contents also 'medium' demo sessions 4 sessions are included, each using certain Sequencer sections (indicated here as Q1...Q10).
